Case Study: Turk’s Head Brewery | From Basic Retail to High-End Brand Experience
/Turk’s Head Brewery partnered with My Beer Brand to address a common challenge: their on-site retail space was functional but failed to reflect the quality and personality of the brand. While the beer resonated with customers, the retail environment did little to encourage longer visits or increased spending.
The original space featured basic finishes, limited merchandising opportunities, and an unstructured customer flow. Retail sales were largely transactional, with minimal brand storytelling or visual impact.
Through a strategic retail redesign, My Beer Brand transformed the space into a high-end, immersive brand experience. Enhancements focused on upgraded finishes, intentional lighting, and a refined layout that naturally guided customers from the entry and check in counter to the taproom seating area and merchandise. Purpose-built retail displays elevated apparel and packaged beer, driving greater visibility and impulse purchases.
Following the redesign, Turk’s Head Brewery saw increased customer engagement, longer dwell times, and higher average ticket spend, particularly across merchandise and to-go beer sales. The project highlights how thoughtful retail design can convert a basic taproom retail section into a powerful driver of brand equity and revenue.
